"GIs retail growth decelerated vs the year-ago period as consumers continued to seek cheaper alternatives in the difficult economic climate. PLs were among the main winners in several markets and, while accounting for only a modest share of revenue, may pose more of a challenge to brands moving forwards. ORTs remained the fastest-growing category, supported by hydration-focused product launches, while other notable trends included the expansion of antacid brands to target a wider range of digestive symptoms and rising demand for fibre supplements amid GLP-1 agonist use and the “fibermaxxing” social media trend."
