Why buy this report?

"The latest update from DB6 shows that value retail sales of LatAm’s CHC market expanded by 6.7% in 2025, down from a healthier 10.4% in 2024 (see Feature, p28). GIs was the weakest major category, managing growth of just 2.9% as largest subcategory ORTs turned negative. This resulted from a downturn in Mexico, where the subcategory peaked in 2023 (+12.9%) but has since faced competition from beverage launches from PepsiCo and Coca-Cola, while a new tax framework from 2026 is set to impact the pricing environment. In contrast, ORTs had another strong year in Brazil, where marketers are seeking to gain scale via expansion in non-pharmacy channels and are exploring differentiated formats and formulas. "
